My journey into movement coaching started with something simple, pain.
In my 20s, a serious back injury led to years of chronic pain, stiffness, and frustration. I couldn’t train properly, couldn’t move freely, and hardest of all… I couldn’t play with my sons the way I wanted to.
Like most people, I kept hoping things would somehow improve on their own.
They didn’t.
A friend once showed me four simple stretches. I ignored them for years… until I finally hit a point where something had to change.
So I tried them.
Within a week, I noticed less pain, easier movement, and something I hadn’t felt in a long time:
HOPE.
That moment changed everything.
Around the same time, I discovered kettlebell training through Bear Grylls’ book Your Life: Train For It, which helped me rebuild not just strength, but confidence, resilience, and trust in my body again.
Over the years, that journey evolved into a simple philosophy:
Move • Restore • Progress
Because most people don’t need extreme workouts or punishment.
They need a smarter, more sustainable way to move, feel stronger, reduce stiffness, and reconnect with the lifestyle they want to live.
Today, through THP Mobility Lab and the LoadMotion System™, I help busy adults over 40 rebuild movement, strength, confidence, and long-term capability through simple, realistic movement training.
Because if your body moves better…
life feels better too.

You’ve built a career.
Handled pressure.
Supported other people.
Kept pushing forward.
But somewhere along the way… your body stopped feeling the way it used to.
You feel stiff getting up from the sofa.
Your back or neck aches after long days.
You’ve lost strength, energy, and movement you once took for granted.
And sometimes you catch yourself thinking:
“Why does my body feel older than I am?”
That was me too.
In my 20s, a serious back injury led to years of pain, stiffness, and frustration. I stopped trusting my body. Movements that once felt easy became hard work.
Like many people, I kept hoping things would somehow improve on their own.
They didn’t.
Eventually, I realised something important:
I didn’t need to punish my body harder.
I needed to rebuild the way I moved.
That’s when everything changed.
A few simple mobility exercises started reducing years of stiffness and discomfort.
Around the same time, kettlebell training helped me rebuild strength, confidence, and resilience in a completely different way.
Not through extreme workouts.
Not through chasing perfection.
But through consistent movement.
That journey eventually became the foundation of everything I teach today:
Move • Restore • Progress
A simpler, more sustainable way to:
move better
reduce stiffness
rebuild strength
restore confidence
and feel capable in your body again
Because when your body moves better…life feels better too.
