
From Chronic Pain to Unbreakable Movement
My journey into mobility and strength coaching started with something simple — pain.
In my 20s, a serious back injury led to years of chronic pain. I couldn’t train properly, couldn’t move freely, and hardest of all… I couldn’t play with my sons the way I wanted to.
A friend once showed me four simple stretches, but I ignored them for five years — always hoping things would magically get better.
They didn’t.
At my lowest point, I finally tried those stretches.
And within one week, everything changed: less pain, more movement, and a spark of hope I hadn’t felt in years.
Around the same time, I read Bear Grylls’ Your Life: Train For It.
His kettlebell workouts helped me rebuild my strength, confidence, and mindset from the ground up.
That transformation led me to become a Mobility Specialist, Sports Conditioning Coach, Loaded Movement Coach, GP Referral Coach, and the creator of the Warrior Mobility System™.
Now I help busy professionals over 40 restore mobility, reduce stiffness, boost circulation, and rebuild the strong, capable, pain-free body they thought they’d lost.

I wasn’t always a mobility and strength coach.
Far from it.
For years I struggled with chronic back pain, stiffness, low energy, and feeling like my body was aging far too quickly.
Every day movements felt harder.
I couldn’t play with my sons the way I wanted to.
I felt trapped inside a body that wasn’t behaving the way it should.
I ignored it for years.
Told myself it would get better on its own.
Told myself I didn’t have time.
But deep down, I knew something had to change.
You’re smart, capable, experienced — you get things done.
A hard-working professional.
A multitasker.
A problem-solver.
Someone everyone else relies on.
But there’s one problem…
Your body isn’t keeping up.
You feel stiff when you stand up.
Your back or neck aches after work.
You’ve lost strength and mobility you used to take for granted.
You don’t feel athletic anymore.
You catch yourself thinking:
“Why does my body feel older than I am?”
That was me, too.
Years of chronic pain.
Feeling tight, restricted, frustrated, and totally out of control with my own body.
Movements I used to breeze through became hard work.
Doctors told me to rest.
Rest made me feel worse.
I reached a point where I knew something had to change — not someday, not eventually… but now.
So instead of ignoring my body, I finally decided to focus on rebuilding it.
Not just to reduce pain…
but to feel energetic, strong, and capable again.
Like most people, when I wanted to fix my pain and stiffness, I went straight to Body Building Magazines as we didn't have the internet and that might have been a good thing..
I tried everything:
Random stretches
Workout programs
Ice/heat
Strength training without mobility
Generic fitness advice
Nothing stuck.
Nothing worked long-term.
Everything was overwhelming and disconnected.
Sound familiar?
Then a friend showed me four simple stretches.
I ignored them for five years…
until pain and frustration finally forced me to try them.
Within one week, I felt the first real improvement I’d had in years.
Around the same time, I read Bear Grylls’ Your Life: Train For It — and his kettlebell workouts completely changed how I trained, moved, and lived.
Those two moments became the foundation of the system that rebuilt my body:
Mobility + Circulation + Loaded Movement = A Strong, Mobile, Unbreakable Body.
I became obsessed with learning the science behind mobility, dynamic strength, recovery, and pain-free movement.
I trained.
I studied.
I got certified.
I rebuilt everything from the ground up.
